Let Your Ego Die, a Spooky Kids tribute

Daisy Berkowitz Spooky Kids Tribute

Back in the early 90′s, in the most loveably rocker dive in Miami, a group of degenerate weirdoes calling themselves “the Spooky Kids” played their first show. What started as a modern psychedelic freakshow would eventually turn into the commercial label whore and icon of the disenfranchised youth of america, Marilyn Manson, but this show wasn’t about the superstardom.

Spooky Empire 2010 Ultimate Horror Weekend

Ultimate Horror WeekendThere is no better way to start the month of October and kick off the Halloween season than Spooky Empire’s Ultimate Horror Weekend. Each year it just seems to get bigger and bigger with more celebrities, performances, parties and event attendees taking over the Wyndham Resort on International Drive in Orlando, Florida Not only were there all the A-List horror stars like Robert Englund (Freddy Krueger), but also some pretty big names in music. Ace Frehley from KISS and that guy who wrote the Lost Boys theme song… you know, the "cry little sister" one… were both rocking out all weekend. The list doesn’t end… Check out Spooky Empire for the full list and whats coming up, because they have some pretty epic surprises up their sleeves.

This year we set up an area alongside DefenzMechanizm for pictures with convention attendees with some of the girls from our site. It attracted a lot of attention thanks to the Couture of DefenzMechanzim, Prints of Pictures from MLMLME.com models, the creepy sculptures made of dead animal parts and machinery provided by Spider. Also drawing waaaaaay to much of the wrong kind of attention were alt models Tara Ryze and Angelica Synthetic, as well as rockers Brian Blitzkrieg and Jackie Ransom of Armada! Carissa White arrived late Saturday, as she had another engagement fighting crime on rooftops.
