CombiChrist, voted "The Best Industrial Band to see Perform Live", by me, recently wrapped up the north america portion of their 2011 tour.

Frontman and songwriter Andy Laplegua’s maniacal and animated stage presence is well complimented by two percussionists, keys and guitar. Whereas most acts in this genre consist of two dudes behind laptops or children in costumes dancing about with unplugged instruments to backing tracks, Combichrist has Joey Letz from HANZEL UND GRETYL, Trevor from Imperative Reaction and Abby Nex who has been in Psyclone 9 and Genitorturers, and legendary keyboardist Z-marr. The energy that these seasoned artists produce when they take the stage is undeniably electrifying.

The crowd is wild, with all the best talent from miami’s alternative culture scene coming together to make it just as visually amazing. Blaze, Trinkette and Andy Wardrobe from Vagabond’s Backdoor Bambi Events, Alexandra Houston from Fetish Factory, and global phenomenon DefenzMechanizm all continue to push the state of the scene to new levels.
