Due to the past 10 years of absolute depravity, i’ve become so anesthetized and cynical that im rarely shocked. From the weekly club night with trashed hipsters humping each other into oblivion to Masked Fetish Balls with adult starlets and CEO’s, my threshold for what constitutes a fun and exciting party is pretty high. I can say with no hesitation, that what reigns now as the one thing to not miss is filled with nerds!

Three main, interconnected hotels with all of downtown Hotlanta providing overflow means that this party literally takes over, so you have the dirty south element commingling with roaming packs of stormtroopers. it’s.. AWESOME.

Combichrist 2011 North America Tour

CombiChrist at Respectables feat. Deadstar Assembly DefenzMechanizm and Star Killer

CombiChrist, voted "The Best Industrial Band to see Perform Live", by me, recently wrapped up the north america portion of their 2011 tour.

Frontman and songwriter Andy Laplegua’s maniacal and animated stage presence is well complimented by two percussionists, keys and guitar. Whereas most acts in this genre consist of two dudes behind laptops or children in costumes dancing about with unplugged instruments to backing tracks, Combichrist has Joey Letz from HANZEL UND GRETYL, Trevor from Imperative Reaction and Abby Nex who has been in Psyclone 9 and Genitorturers, and legendary keyboardist Z-marr. The energy that these seasoned artists produce when they take the stage is undeniably electrifying.
